Below is the my competency with several different pieces of software. In the case of Solidworks, Autodesk and Adobe programs, I have working professional experience with these pieces of software on my placement year and when working at MMS.

CAD Programs

My CAD expertise spans a range of software and I often find the approach in each is highly transferable. I have professional experience in Sketchup and AutoCad, and I have brief scripting in experience in AutoCad. I have professional experience in Cura, and ensuring models 3D print to the necessary standard on both FDM and SLA printers. I also have some experience in Autodesk Inventor. However, I am most experienced in SolidWorks. I have over 2 years professional experience and countless other hours over university and personal projects. I am familiar with everything up to and including surface modelling, assemblies and simulations. I have also created custom macros to check and speed up certain tasks which improves the quality of my work. I build in checks to the programs and the model templates to ensure the best result, this includes using sensors as part of the model.
